6 people who gave new life to 6 bikes. Ian, Ben, Briitta, Sienna, Nicole and Glenn finished last Saturday the "Build Your Own Bike" course with honors.
Over 3 consecutive Saturdays, they not only build the bike of their own choice by using recycled bikes, frames, and parts but they will also be able to service their own bike.
This course gives us the opportunity to share our expertise and ideas about recycling and redeploying bikes. which is the main purpose of our organisation.

We are thrilled to bits with the Social Impact Award Revolve Recycling has won today.
The winners of all awards including leadership in the bike industry and promoting bike culture were announced at a Gala Dinner at Parlement House in Canberra hosted by the Parliamentary Friends of Cycling and We Ride - The national independent voice for cycling.
The finalists and winners have been selected by an independent panel consisting of three senior experts from the government, health, and local government sectors.
This year, on the basis of exceptional nominations received, the judges have requested a Special Judges Recognition Award for Social Impact which we won based on the work we have been doing around bike equity and specifically with the kid`s bikes we give away to those who have no access to bicycles.
We strongly believe that every child deserves the joy of riding a bike and that personal mobility can help communities become fairer and happier places.

Liza, Mose, Alex, and Ima our Samoan and Ni-Vanuatu mechanic course participants are enjoying their time with us. Under the leadership of Susie, they rebuilt a variety of bikes including BMX, Road, and Mountain bikes. This will prepare them to go back to their countries and help local bikers keep their bikes going for a bit longer and help develop a bike culture. Thanks to a generous donation from AirMark - an international freight forwarder - we received today our first container for our kid`s program Bike Equity. Over the next couple of months, we will equip this container with kids` bikes, tools, and a workbench and send it off to a - still to be selected - remote community of those who have expressed an interest in setting up a local kids` bike workshop. A container is a perfect tool to transport, store, secure, and work on the bikes.
