What we service

We service commuter, hybrid, mountain, road, single-speed, and BMX bikes. We can do some mechanical repairs on e-bikes, but not electrical or software repairs.

We have a wide array of second-hand parts we can also use on your bike, should any parts need replacing. We will, however, purchase new wearable components such as chains, cassettes, and cables, and fit them to your bike where necessary. If your bike needs a certain part replaced, and we do not have a replacement in stock, we can order it for you (but will always prioritise reusing parts from existing second-hand inventory).

NOTES

  • Space is at a premium for us, and we like to have a fast turnaround of bikes. If you are unable to pick up your bike after it has been dropped off for a quote or service within a week and/or we don’t hear from you, we charge a $20/week holding fee for customer bikes (in addition to the cost of service).
  • We cannot service “department store” bikes – such as bikes bought from K-Mart, Big W, other big retailers, or some direct-to-consumer online stores. Generally, the cost of the service outweighs the initial cost of the bike, so it is not a good financial investment for you. Additionally, they are often built with low-quality, non-repairable frames, and parts, so we would not be able to deliver a proper service.
  • We do not service suspensions; we recommend you take that kind of job to Mountain Bike Suspension Centre.

When we Service

You can drop off your bike during trading hours, once received, the mechanics will assess your bike and confirm the work to be done within the next 48h with a follow-up.
