DIY Bike Workshop: Fully Equipped for Your Repair and Maintenance Needs
Revolve Recycling now offers workstations for hire, providing a convenient space for bike enthusiasts with basic knowledge but no space or tools to work on their bikes. Or, novices and people with basic skills that need some general guidance to be able to book a workstation in our existing workshop.
Please note, this service is specifically for individuals who have some experience with bike repairs; beginners requiring extensive assistance may not find this service suitable. Our mechanics can demonstrate how things work but will not be able to assist throughout the entire operation.
Pricing:
- 30 minutes unassisted $15
- 30 minutes assisted $25
What’s Included:
- Access to a fully-equipped workstation
- Use of all necessary tools, including but not limited to: wrenches, screwdrivers, tire levers, pumps, bike stands, and more.
- A large range of second-hand parts for purchase, including brakes, gears, cranks, stems, seats, posts, brake levers, tires, and wheels. New consumables are available at retail prices.
What to Bring:
- Your own bike
- Close-toed shoes (required)
- Gloves (BYO, though we have some available)
Important Information – Please read the below before booking:
- Minimum booking is 30 minutes, plus the refundable deposit if no damage occurs.
- A signed agreement will be required, including a refundable deposit of $30 to cover any damages.
- Time starts, upon arrival and continues until departure.
- Users should have, a good understanding of the time needed for their tasks.
- No Overnight Storage: Bikes cannot be left overnight as we do not offer storage facilities.
- E-bikes: Workstations are not equipped to handle e-bike repairs.
- Kitchen Access: A kitchen is available for making hot drinks and heating food in the microwave.
- Other Restrictions: No alcohol, chemicals, or paint allowed on-site.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Users must clean up their workstation when the job is finished.
- Insurance: Insurance for injuries is in place.
- Additional Amenities: Toilet facilities on site.
Recommended Booking Time:
To ensure adequate time for your repairs, we suggest booking at least 60 minutes. Alternatively, include the type of work you will be doing when booking so our team can advise.
